Robotics- Robotics and Programming

The design process is a series of steps used to come up with a solution to a problem. Many times the solution involves designing a product that meets the certain criteria or accomplishes a certain task. This term we have sketched out a rough copy of what we want our future robot to look like we include cameras, wheels, and a frame to hold the structure of our robot. We have also been exploring mars lander so we know how to control our robot. We have been working a lot with the sphero, last lesson we got into groups and made a basic frame of the mars lander.


The terrain in mars is rocky it has volcanoes, craters and cannons covering the entire thing. Mars has a temperature around -80deress Fahrenheit. The freezing cold weather would affect my mars lander design by freezing it so much that it will  make it glitch constantly.
We have been learning how to control our mars lander robots online. We have been navigating the mars lander over the mars terrain. We have moved it left, right, back and forth to maneuver it through the mars terrain. We have also been looking at the different camera angles. I personally don't like using the mars lander app as it is very hard to control with all the different camera angles and driving controls.
Our robot will navigate around mars lander because of the built structure. It has 4 steady wheels and a solid structure that will get it through the mars terrain.
